A powerful device in a small frame, the Atmos Boss Vaporizer dry herb vape pen kind of reminds us of the infamously short leader Napoleon.

But, unlike the warlord, the Atmos Boss has no complex to deal with, as this nifty little device lets its power and performance speak for itself. The Atmos Boss is one of the bestselling dry herb vape pens for good reason. The Boss is a noticeable upgrade over its predecessor, the Atmos Raw, which was a decent unit in its own right. Atmos Boss Battery Life

The Atmos Boss vaporizer comes with a lithium-ion 1200mAh battery that is pretty powerful, especially for its size. The battery can be replaced for an additional cost. The Atmos Boss takes about two hours to fully charge up and lasts approximately 20 minutes of continuous vaping. Most users get between two and four full sessions out of one charge, which is on par with other vape pens on the market. Obviously, this is less than some of the higher-end portable vaporizers, but you are getting a vape pen after all. You also cannot charge this device and use it at the same time.

How to use the Atmos Boss pen?

The Atmos Boss is arguably the smallest of its kind. The Boss is shaped like that of an actual writing pen, or an E-cig if you prefer, and clocks in a featherweight-sized 2.7 ounces and about 6.5” tall. Using this vaporizer is as simple as they come. Just remove the bowl and pack your dry herbs to start. Then, reattach everything, press the button 3 times to start the unit, a red light will turn on at the bottom of the unit wait about 30 seconds until the bottom light turns blue which means you’re good to start vaping. You will want to grind your herbs as finely as possible to ensure the best vape rips you can get. If you pack the Boss with herbs that aren’t fine enough, you won’t get the best experience. Cleaning the unit is a no-brainer, just make sure to keep the chamber as free from excess debris and possible using a Q-tip, and clean the mouthpiece with alcohol after every two or three sessions.

Since this device is a vape pen, there are no temperature controls, and it only vapes your dry herbs at one temperature, which is around 205° Celsius. A vape pen with temperature controls is pretty rare at this current stage of the vaporizer game, but that could possibly change in the coming future and become more like the Best Portable Vaporizers. The Atmos Boss vaporizer is ready to go in an impressive 30 seconds or so. The device’s automatic shut-off feature will power down the Boss after about 50 seconds of not vaping. When that happens, just hit the power button to take another rip. You will want to look elsewhere if you prefer vaping at different temperature intervals or prefer vape clouds that are on the thinner side. For the newbie looking for an easily accessible option to get into vaping, though, the Atmos Boss is a great choice.

Atmos Boss Vape Pen Convection Heating Chamber

Atmos Boss Pen Vapor Quality

Although the size of the vape clouds you’ll get with the Boss obviously aren’t as large as some of the more high end, extensive models due to its convection chamber, but it definitely does hold its own in comparison to other dry herb portable vape pens. Since the Boss is made from metal, are some vape enthusiasts that think the Boss produces vapor that isn’t as tasty or flavorful as units that use ceramic, but we tend to disagree. Based on our experience and most of the users we’ve talked to that own an Atmos Boss love their device, and tell us that the taste and flavor of the vapor that the Atmos Boss produces is great, and pretty much every hit is smooth with minimal harshness. At the end of the day, it comes down to personal taste and preferences. If you’re a “vape snob” that is very picky about their vape flavor and taste, you will probably want to look elsewhere. But for the majority of users, the vapor quality and taste that the Boss produces is better than good enough.
