How it Works and Ease of Use

The Bo One vape is really simple to use and will be a no-brainer for both newbies and experienced vape juice users alike. To use the Bo vape, be sure to make sure you fully charge it out of the box. Then just take out a pod from the plastic and take off the colored cap as well as the silicone pieces. Then just insert a disposable pod into the device, and you’re good to go. It is really that simple. The device is draw-activated, which means you don’t have any buttons to press. Simply put in one of the pods and inhale. When you’re ready for a new pod, just repeat the above steps.

How it Works

Temperature Settings

While there are no adjustable temperature settings on the Bo vape pen, the temperature is controlled automatically on the device, which means that each vape rip you take is flavorful as long as you’re using the right pod. Other pod-based devices will cause hits to feel dry, but the temperature controls on the Bo One vape prevent this from happening.

Bo One Vapor Quality

If you’re a smoker who has recently quit, first of all, nice work! We commend your decision, and your lungs will thank you for it. Secondly, you might have found the device that is perfect for you. The reason is that with the Bo vape, the pods are made with e-juice that contains nicotine salts, which is different from other mods and e-cigs. The pods with the nicotine salts actually give a bit of a smoother draw than other e-cigs, but more closely resemble what a smoker would identify as the satisfaction of taking a drag. Also, when you compare how much nicotine is in a cigarette, it’s probably more than that of a disposable vape pen like the Bo vape.

There are bo pods available in different flavors like butterscotch, polar mint, and lemonade. The Kiwiberry Ice flavored pods that come with the Bo One Starter kit provide some tasty flavor, and those were the only ones we got to try at this time. If you have experience tasting any of the other flavors, we would love to hear your thoughts down in the comments below. The vapor production isn’t as high as other pod-based devices like the Juul Pod, but it’s not that big of a deal to us.

Bo One Battery Life

The 380 mAh proprietary battery on the Bo One vape is on the small end, but that is to be expected with a compact device like this one. The charge time is a bit on the high side at about 2 hours or so, but most users seem to get about 4 hours of vaping time on it, which isn’t bad. Even though the battery on the KandyPens Rubi is decent, the Bo One does seem to last a bit longer as far as pod-based devices go. Also, the Juul charger is a bit stronger than the Bo vape, but not by all that much.

Aesthetics and Manufacturing Quality

The Bo E-cig grey version has a ceramic finish, and the black version has a rubber finish. The grey version feels a bit sturdier, while the black version feels a bit better in your hand when vaping. Both versions are pretty sturdy, durable and well made. While the LED lights that indicate how much battery life you have left is visually appealing, there is no way to tell how much e-juice is remaining because it’s completely covered and there is no indicator light for that. There is also no micro USB port on the Bo vape, so those are two significant knocks on this unit. While the Bo Ecig does look pretty slick, we think the aesthetics are slightly sexier than a competitor of the Bo vape, the KandyPens Rubi.

Manufacturing Quality

Portability and Discreteness

As is the case with most pod-style vaporizers, the Bo One vape is highly portable and causes no issues when it comes to trying to carry it around and use it on the go. Because you only have the option to vape e-juice with it, discreetness isn’t really an issue. If you are looking to protect the device and add some extra battery life, consider adding the Bo Power to your order as well.

Bo One Vape Accessories

The Bo one doesn’t come with many accessories at all. In addition to the pod-style vape itself, you get a Bo E-Cigarette Battery, a USB charger, and two Bo brand pods, Kiwiberries Ice flavor. The Bo One vape also comes with a 60-day warranty, which could be better, but also could be worse.

Summary and Comparison

The Bo One E-Cig is a decent device that offers high portability, solid vapor, good build quality and lots of flavor choices. However, the small proprietary battery, no way to tell how much vape juice you’ve got left and the lack of oil functionality do leave a bit to be desired for its price. With the KandyPens Rubi oil vaporizer, you get way more options with that portable oil vaporizer, such as the ability to vape cannabis oil with it. We definitely recommend the Nicotine/ THC/ CBD Vape Pen from the KandyPens brand over the Bo One vape, but you could do worse than the Bo One. The JUUL vape is similarly priced and you can find it all over the U.S and Canada.
