Our expert used the Utillian 6 for a few weeks and really put it to the test to see how good it actually is.

First Impressions and Build

As soon as you take it out of the box, it feels solid and high quality. It’s small enough to fit in your pocket, and the bit of weight makes it feel sturdy and well-made. The magnetic parts connect smoothly and hold everything together nicely.

Smooth Flavor and Big Clouds

There are four temperature levels to choose from. I started on the lowest setting and got smooth, flavorful hits. Watching the wax melt and bubble through the glass gives it that real dab rig feel.

What really stood out to me was the airflow. Inside the mouthpiece, there’s a special vortex design that creates a spinning effect while you inhale. This helps move the terp pearl around during your hit, which not only looks cool but also helps the wax heat up more evenly.

At level 3, the vapor became thick and cloudy, but still stayed smooth with no burnt taste. The glass chamber heats from the bottom, and the spinning terp pearl keeps the wax moving for even heating. This helps prevent hot spots and delivers consistent vapor.

It heats up in just a few seconds. You’ll see the coil glow red under the glass, and a small vibration lets you know it’s ready. Watching the pearl spin while you hit adds a fun, hands-on touch to the whole session.

Extended Glass Mouthpiece

The longer mouthpiece that comes with it really improves the session. It cools down the vapor, gives smoother hits. After using it, I didn’t want to switch back to the regular mouthpiece.

Hidden Wax Storage

There’s a hidden wax storage spot at the bottom of the device. It was a bit tricky to open the first time, but once you get it, it’s super handy. You can pack some wax before heading out and be ready to go.

Easy to Use

You just click it 5 times to turn it on or off, 3 times to change the temperature, and 2 times to start heating. It’s really simple and great for beginners. What I liked most is there’s no app or confusing settings. You just use it and it works. After you’re done, it cools down by itself and blinks to let you know.

Cleaning

Cleaning is easy. I just used an ISO cleaning stick to wipe the chamber and mouthpiece after each use to keep it clean. Everything comes apart without any trouble.

After a few sessions, giving it a deeper clean is also simple. You just soak the glass parts, the silicone mouthpiece, and the glass mouthpiece in ISO alcohol. Then rinse them with hot water, let them dry, and put everything back together. This helps keep the flavor fresh every time.

Battery Life

Battery life is decent for its size. I got around 8 to 10 sessions on a full charge. It charges with USB-C so it’s fast and convenient. If you dab often, the is the best dab pen to get.
