Is the CCell Palm Pro worth it?

The recently released CCell Palm Pro is getting a lot of attention thanks to several meaningful upgrades over its predecessor, the CCell Palm.

If adjustable voltage and airflow are high on your list, there are some good reasons to buy CCell Palm Pro over the original model.

As an avid cartridge vaper, I was thrilled to test out its voltage and airflow control, and it exceeded my expectations.

Let’s take a look and see if it will make it onto our list of the Best Vape Pens.

    CCell Palm Pro Build Quality

The new matte finish gives it a more refined look compared with many other 510-thread batteries. In the kit, you’ll get the CCell Palm Pro itself, a USB-C charging cable, two 510 magnetic adapters, and an owner’s manual.

    CCell Palm Pro specs

    • It has a nice weight to it, and the metal body feels solid in the hand, measuring 2.6in x 1.65in x 0.53in.

I’m not too experienced with magnetic 510 vape batteries, but I was surprised by how securely it held the cartridge in place, as you need a fairly strong tug to remove your cart.

    CCell Palm Pro portability

If you haven’t used a 510 Magnetic Adapter before, you simply thread it onto the bottom of your Vape Cartridge, then drop it into the holding slot of the Palm Pro. The included 180-day warranty is another nice addition from CCell, especially for a compact battery in this price range.

    Strong 510 Thread Battery Life

The 500mAh battery on the Palm Pro can provide more than a day’s worth of heavy usage for many users.

Another one of the most noteworthy upgrades between the Palm and Palm Pro is the new USB-C charging, which is much more convenient than Micro-USB.

Additionally, there’s a new battery indicator light so that you’re aware of how much charge you have left.

With one quick press of the power button, you’ll be able to check your battery level, with the indicator showing approximately 0–40%, 40–70%, or 70–100% charge.

If battery capacity and charge indicators are important to you, you can shop 510-thread batteries to compare the Palm Pro with other options designed for different usage levels.

    Voltage Control

One significant enhancement in the CCell Palm Pro is the introduction of adjustable voltage settings, unlike the older model, which only had one fixed voltage option.

The Palm Pro offers three voltage levels, letting you change how your cartridge performs depending on whether you want more flavor or bigger clouds.

By pressing and holding the power button, you’ll be able to cycle through the three voltage settings of 2.8V, 3.2V, and 3.6V.

    Adjustable Airflow Dial

Just below where your cartridge sits, you’ll also find an airflow dial that lets you control the resistance and intensity of your draw.

For example, using the Palm Pro at 3.6V with the airflow mostly closed can produce warmer, denser vapor, while a lower voltage with the airflow open will generally prioritize smoother draws and flavor.

    Tips and Tricks

    • Hold on to the warranty card included in the kit so you can file a claim if anything breaks down.
    • You can use 0.5mL cartridges, but the mouthpiece will sit lower inside the device.
    • If you carry spare cartridges or adapters, a Vape Case can help keep everything protected and organized on the go.
    • Two clicks of the power button will start a 10-second preheat to help warm thicker oils before your session or gently clear a clogged cartridge.

Who’s the CCell Palm Pro best for?

In conclusion, the CCell Palm Pro is a worthwhile upgrade over the original CCell Palm if you value adjustable voltage, airflow control, USB-C charging, and a clearer battery indicator.

With adjustable voltage, airflow control, and a compact design, the Palm Pro is a strong everyday 510 battery. If you want to compare it with other cartridge-based options, you can shop oil vaporizers to see different designs, battery styles, and features.
