Flavour & Vapor Quality That Hits Hard

Let’s talk about the real reason most people choose the Puffco Peak Pro — the vapor quality. It’s seriously impressive. The hits are smooth, full of flavor, and strong enough for daily use. You can really taste the terpenes, and it delivers that “high as a kite” feeling people look for when dabbing.

The ceramic atomizer does an amazing job melting down any type of concentrate — whether it’s wax, shatter, live rosin, diamonds, piatella hash, or sauce, it handles it all without a problem. It melts everything evenly and produces thick, tasty clouds.

Just a heads up: the atomizer can get dirty quickly. To keep the flavor clean, it’s best to swab it with a Q-tip after each session. If you skip that, dark buildup can mess with both the taste and performance.

Compared to its closest rival, the Dr. Dabber Switch 2, the Peak Pro is way more travel-friendly and practical. The Switch 2 is powerful but bulky, more like a coffee machine than an eRig. The Peak Pro is lighter, more portable, and feels like a real eRig with a user-friendly design.

I also love that the Peak Pro is still compatible with original Peak glass bubblers. If you’ve invested in custom glass, you can continue using it with the Pro. This is a big plus for anyone with a special collection of glass pieces.

The new glass bubbler for the Peak Pro is heavier and sturdier than before. It now has five air holes at the base for better airflow and smoother hits. The vortex grooves inside cool down the vapor and help it flow better, giving the Peak Pro a more modern, functional look.

Puffco also keeps their hardware up-to-date, unlocking new features like “Insanity Mode,” which boosts cloud size and improves battery efficiency.

Great for Home, Not Super Stealthy

While smaller units like the XMax Qomo have hit the market recently, the Peak Pro is the perfect size for at-home dabbing. It feels great in the hand, has just the right weight, and isn’t too bulky, so it’s easy to carry around. Plus, the included carrying case is super sturdy and keeps your E-Rig safe during travel.

However, don’t expect to use the Peak Pro on the go and remain discreet. The bright light show and sleek design are bound to grab attention, so it’s not exactly a stealthy option for public use.

One thing worth mentioning is the Focus V Carta Sport, which comes with some handy accessories for on-the-go dabbing. It includes a satchel and a bubbler water cap, so you can pre-fill it and take it with you when traveling — a more portable option if you’re looking for something discreet.

Impressive Battery Life: Strong and Steady

The Puffco Peak Pro’s battery life is pretty solid, with an average of about 25 sessions per full charge, which equates to around 100 hits. While the battery life hasn’t drastically improved compared to the original Peak, it’s still on par with most portable dab rigs. The real upgrade here is the switch to USB-C charging, which is more convenient than the old Micro-USB, though the charge time remains around 2 hours.

 While charging, the light will flash different colors:

• Red is low and means 0-40% charge
• Orange 41-74% charge
• Green 75-100% charge
• The light will turn off when it is fully charged

With the other upgrade to Wireless Qi charging, you’ll also be able to use power docks to charge your device without having to worry about cables.

We’ve been using our Focus V Carta 2 Wireless Charger, but any of them will do. There is an available official wireless charger from Puffco.

The nice thing is that it’s specifically made for the Peak Pro and offers something called ‘Ready Mode’ for on-demand dabbing. This is an option on the smartphone app to have the E-Rig automatically begin heating your device when you take it off the power dock so that sessions are even more foolproof.

Overall, I’m a big fan of wireless charging, especially since you can use it for your smartphones as well.

How to Use the Puffco Peak Pro?

The Puffco Peak Pro doesn’t completely change the e-rig game but improves the classic design with the addition of smartphone app integration. This provides better control, tracking, and customization for a smoother experience.

To get started, just follow these simple steps:

1. Fill the bubbler with a small amount of water. Make sure to fill it slightly above the percolation holes for better filtration and smoother hits.
   
   
   • Pro Tip: Pre-heat the atomizer before loading wax, so it melts into the chamber more easily, or use an electric dab tool like the Puffco Hot Knife for an even melt.
     
     
2. Turn it on by pressing and holding the power button.
   
   
3. Cycle through temperature settings: Press the power button once to switch between the 4 pre-set temperature settings: Low, Medium, High, and Peak.
   
   
   • Pro Tip: For light, tasty clouds, use low temperature. For heavy hits, turn it up to high.
     
     
4. Load your wax: Place a small, rice-sized grain of wax into the atomizer.

Easy Cleaning, Longer Life

Maintaining the Peak Pro is pretty easy and similar to other e-rigs. Regular cleaning will keep everything working well, and it’s not too time-consuming.

1. Clean the atomizer: Wipe down the chamber with vape cleaning sticks after each session to prevent build-up. Every now and then, soak the atomizer in isopropyl alcohol to keep it fresh.
   
   
2. Bubbler care: To remove hard water stains or residue, give the bubbler a quick soak and shake with Orange Chronic Glass Cleaner. This does a great job of keeping it clear.
   
   
3. General upkeep: Use vape cleaning wipes to clean the atomizer connections or any other areas of the base where you notice grime or buildup.
